Verdict
Weihnachts was beaten a long way when runner-up at Roscommon though that was his first start since April. Tuatha De Dannan attracted good support in a Ballinrobe bumper so presumably was expected to do much better than he did. Fou Dilligence will be better for his staying-on effort at Fairyhouse though this could prove on the short side, a remark that also applies to Whatucallher, whose better efforts last winter were over further. Scardura is another likely to do better with a greater stamina test while winning point-to-pointer Alice O'Byrne couldn't quite go the pace over the minimum at Tramore. DIME A DOZEN, another winner between the flags, landed a Tramore bumper last month and with her allowance and jockey's claim to aid her cause she's taken to make a winning start over timber.
