Verdict

GARRI RUA won on consecutive days over the course and distance in September and, though both were gained on testing ground, he's won on good going at Galway so this could be another for the 10-year-old. Travertine ran a fine race when runner-up at Fairyhouse but that was over 2m4f and he has yet to prove he stays this far but the trip is no problem for Irish Bulletin, who is a stout stayer though much better handicapped over fences. Courtncatcher has plenty of stamina but was put in his place by Icantsay over fences at Punchestown last month so the winner has to be a major threat off a 13lb lower mark back over timber. Nobody Home gained his first victory on his 20th start at Punchestown and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run.
