Verdict

Via Serendipity was only beaten a length in Listed company last time and returns to handicapping on a winning mark. War Glory is also capable in this grade though has yet to win this year and the progressive FOX DUTY FREE makes more appeal. The latter has won both starts since switching to Ralph Beckett’s yard and defied a hike in the weights to complete a double over 7f here with his latest success. There could be more to come over this extra furlong and he gets the vote. The veteran Pactolus is not the force of old on the all-weather and Crownthorpe is upped in class.
