      Verdict

      It could pay to stick with THAPA VC given this extra distance will suit Sir Mark Prescott’s charge having won over 7f at Wolverhampton when handicapping for the first time. Tick Toch represents last year’s winning yard but never figured at Kempton on her handicap debut and the less-exposed Crane is preferred having placed in novice company over track and trip last time. Ventura Vision has won over 7f and makes more appeal than Always Dreaming and Doonbeg Farmer but Semper Augustus steps up from 6f having been gelded since well beaten at Newwmarket in October.
