Shunkawakhan, Having A Ball and Palais Polaire look the three to concentrate on in this handicap and the vote is given to Palais Polaire. The selection was a beaten favourite at Kempton last time but she hung left under pressure that day so she may find this track more to her liking and she is worth another chance. Shunkawakhan remains a maiden after 27 attempts but he has gone close on several occasions and he does have a race in him. However, the chances are he will again find a couple too good. Having A Ball has gone close on his last two starts but they were over 6f and we are not sure the return to 7f will suit. Quantam Leap is a course and distance winner but he has gone off the boil of late, which returns us to Palais Polaire as the one to beat.
