In depth

Verdict

Artemis Kimbo made a winning hurdling debut at Leicester for the Skelton yard and should come on plenty for the run. However, it wasn't the strongest of contests and her penalty means that she has to give 7lb to SPRING NOTE. The Henderson mare impressed on bumper debut, was not disgraced on her first try over timber next time up and the weight concession she receives can tip the scales in her favour with improvement anticipated. Space Voyage is not to be ruled out in a tricky little affair either as she followed up her Market Rasen bumper win with a respectable effort at Newbury on her hurdling debut. She is another who seems sure to benefit from her initial hurdling experience. For Gina is going the right way but faces a tough task against the trio of previous winners.
