        Verdict

        Ubla has won twice again since landing last year’s renewal but today’s high draw hasn’t done him any favours. Soaring Spirits scored over track and trip recently with Maazel back in sixth and could be thereabouts again raised 4lb. Storm Melody and Your Choice have both been in the mix over 6f lately but have something to prove over today’s trip so a chance is taken on VENTRILOQUIST. The six-year-old has only raced 10 times and won a maiden over course and distance back in 2015 when rated 80. He raced in Hong Kong last year before switching to Simon Dow’s yard and gets a speculative vote off his current mark with a recent comeback run under his belt.
