Verdict

A competitive handicap sees the return of Bubbly Ballerina, who has every chance on her win at Chester in September. Nottingham winner Taffe was less than a length behind runner-up WASEEM FARIS at Kempton last time but the latter should have the edge once again here with decent apprentice Charlie Bishop good value for his 5lb claim. Mick Channon's colt is also preferred to Fibresand winner Quite A Thing, who gets first-time blinkers, and Mr Knightley who has done all his winning in platers.
