      Verdict

      A couple of these bid for hat-tricks with THE WHIPMASTER preferred. A winner on the Polytrack here before scoring at Sandown, an apprentice’s allowance reduces a 5lb penalty and he’s preferred to Pledge Of Honour. The latter landed a double with victory at Nottingham and is 4lb higher while Chief Of Staff is tried over a longer trip having placed over a mile last time. Carp Kid hasn’t been at his best though won this contest last year off a 5lb lower mark.
