Beneking is taken to follow up over Miss Glory Be, with Coronado Forest and Margaret's Dream likely to have their supporters. Beneking has a nice low draw and lines up on the back of a much belated win over seven furlongs here a fortnight ago. That was his first victory in 36 outings on the Flat, and it has to be said that he was given the most positive of rides by Chris Catlin who is in the plate again today. The step up to a mile should not be a problem given by the way that he stayed on last time, and a follow-up is very much on the cards. Miss Glory Be is another that will appreciate this trip as she showed when a close third on her latest outing in November. She might just be a bit ring-rusty but other than that has claims, as does Coronado Forest, a dual winner here earlier in the year. His form has petered out but it would not do to rule him out given what he is capable of. Margaret's Dream has yet to open her account but figured in a blanket finish over seven furlongs here 10 days ago, and is another for the list. Beneking has finally got the hang of things though, and is the pick.
