Hurricane Flyer has run to a fair standard when second in each of his two starts so far and is taken to go one better here at the main expense of Castano and All You Need. The last mentioned has lost nothing in defeat in his two outings in York maidens but they do not look to have been the best of contests by the track's standards and Reg Hollinshead's gelding may be an artificially short price. James Given's Baileys Outshine should appreciate any cut in the ground that remains and she makes more appeal than Paul Cole's once-raced Earl Compton. Gower should improve for his debut effort at Sandown and could be of interest along with Peter Makin's Shustraya, although she may want a faster surface. Rod Millman's Castano looks to be going the right way and is another worthy of a mention but Hurricane Flyer has solid claims and is taken to gain a deserved success.
