        Verdict

        COOL SPHERE was outclassed in the Norfolk Stakes at Ascot last week having gone close over today’s trip at Leicester on his earlier debut. Bob Cowell’s colt can open his account back at this level. Shani won a seller at Goodwood last time and will find this tougher while Raahy drops down in trip having placed over 6f on a couple of occasions and showing good early pace in both. Crime Of Passion showed some progress at Sandown on her latest start but the newcomer X Force is a half-brother to a two-year-old winner and may prove a bigger threat.
