All of these step up in trip including Surrey Gold, who won a maiden over a mile at Wolverhampton in December but is bred for middle-distances and should go well. Rewired went close over 1m2f on last year’s handicap debut though is 6lb higher on his reappearance while Albert Camus has failed to show any progress in a couple of starts so far this year. GLIDE DOWN ran well for third over 1m2f here on his first start gelded and with more to come now handicapping, Alan King’s charge may prove the one to side with.
