      Verdict

      MARSHALL PLAN appreciated the step up to today’s trip at Wolverhampton and beat a subsequent winner with a bit to spare. The Gosden colt can defy a penalty and make Frankie’s only ride of the meeting a winning one. Al Nefud also represents Godolphin having found one too good in both starts over 1m2f while Going Gone has placed in both outings so far but debuts on the all-weather. Forever William should improve for this longer trip while Golden Wattle is preferred to Mandoob of the newcomers.
