Verdict

All bar top weight Come On Safari have won at this track before but Diplomatic is difficult to recommend after a poor effort at Kempton last time. Prince Of Thebes was also well beaten on his latest start and isn't getting any younger but Cativo Cavallino should strip fitter for last month's reappearance while Peadar Miguel was a decent fourth on his latest outing. Noel Quinlan's charge wasn't far behind CHIEF EXEC over C&D last month and is 3lb better off today but Jeremy Gask's gelding won with a bit in hand that day and can confirm the form. In a tricky finale, he looks the one to be on.
