Sir Michael Stoute's newcomer Dynacam can make an immediate impact over fellow newcomer Villa Sonata, with Broken Spur best of those with experience. None of those with racecourse knowledge have looked anything out of the ordinary so far, although Broken Spur has finished runner-up on a couple of occasions, including when just touched off on the Turf course here in July. In addition he was unlucky at Chester the time before last when struck by a rivals whip, so deserves to pick up some sort of race before the season is out. However, the word from the gallops is that Dynacam has been stretching out well, and this American-bred, a half-sister to Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Action This Day is taken to go in first time. James Fanshawe's youngsters seem in good order at present as well, and so it would be no surprise if Villa Sonata, a Mozart filly, were to run well first time either. The market may tell us more, but Dynacam can take this before going on to better things.
