In depth

Verdict

Club House won three times over track and trip earlier in the year but could only manage fourth dropped to 7f last time. He finished just behind Gracious George on that occasion but can reverse running back over today's longer distance. The Best Doctor may well have improved since last year and makes his handicap debut. He's preferred to Gaelic Silver, who landed a claimer over 1m2f here a fortnight ago and will find this tougher, but the vote goes WILFRED PICKLES. The latter ended a long losing run over course and distance earlier in the year and is only 2lb higher today.
