        Verdict

Andrew Balding uses Breakheart to educate his novice riders and the 10-year-old was second in a lower grade at Kempton last week, though Michael Coles hasn’t had much luck on the veteran so far. Another recent Kempton runner-up, Dukes Meadow, has to go on the short-list while Gabriel Malune was second on Hold Firm at Chelmsford over a longer trip last time. John Bridger saddles the top two in the weights and both are previous course and distance winners. BETSALOTTIE was third at Kempton dropping back to a mile and gets the nod ahead of Jane Elliott’s mount Bookmaker.
