In depth

Verdict

Sennockian Star has already won three times since the turn of the year but he’s come up against COILLTE CAILIN on a couple of occasions at Wolverhampton this winter and come off worst on both occasions. He is now 5lb worse off than when finishing behind David O’Meara’s mare in Pactolus’ race earlier this month and will struggle to turn the tables. Dutch Uncle wasn’t winning out of turn last time but needs to take a further step forward to land this and doesn’t always find much off the bridle, though he probably holds Van Huysen on collateral form. Banditry is 5lb higher than when scoring at Chelmsford in October but has had a couple of runs over hurdles since and is not out of this.
