        Verdict

        Your Gifted ended a frustrating run of seconds with a victory over C&D last week. Today's penalty has probably spoiled his chances of following up and a chance is taken on WANCHAI WHISPER. Her latest fourth here was nothing to shout home about but, dropped in class for this and with a first-time visor fitted, Peter Hedger's filly may just be good enough. Black Baccara has been placed in a couple of starts at the lowest level and needs more here but Step It Up may do just that with a recent comeback run under his belt.
