King Fingal kept on well to beat Kaolak by more than four lengths at Musselburgh two weeks ago. The runner-up was just beaten on a return visit to the Scottish track earlier this week but John Quinn's six-year-old has more on his plate here giving weight to some equally unexposed types. Spirit Is Needed was runner-up to the promising Iolith on his hurdling debut, while Semi Colon is entitled to improve on her third over a longer trip at Taunton. But YORGUNNABELUCKY ticks plenty of boxes and could make a winning start. Though he was often a little headstrong on the Flat, the five-year-old still managed to win three times for Mark Johnston in 2010 and this track often suits those who like to race up with the pace. Akbabend is another newcomer to note, though may do better over further in time.
