There a very few that can realistically be given claims here so, from a shortlist of Gravardlax, Samaria, Dream Scene, Atlantic City and, possibly, Colloquial, we will opt for Dream Scene. A beautifully-bred daughter of Sadler's Wells, the John Gosden-trained filly finished a good third to Focus Group on only her second start when last seen in September. Given that she is sure tor relish today's extra trip, connections may have found a good chance for her to gain some invaluable winning brackets. While her stablemate, Tree Tops, ha regressed since displaying ability during the summer, Samaria showed possibly her best form last time when finishing second to the capable Modaffa over course and distance last time. She must be afforded a chance, as must Gravardlax who, although a bit disappointing overall, has form enough to be in the mix here and may even improve over today's longer trip. Atlantic City, who has also proven hard to catch right, has a length-and-a-half to find on the form of that race. Of the others and Opium Creek seems pretty modest, Warbreck is very well bred but this trip would seem a little far on breeding, Screenplay holds claims on the best of his juvenile form, Kipsigis has displayed some talent but seems to lack gears, but Colloquial, an unraced Classic Cliche newcomer from the Henry Candy stable, is one to have a look at if supported. Overall, though, we are happy enough to Dream Scene.
