An open maiden where experience could make its mark and with that in mind the TEAMtalk vote goes to Face The Storm. With two runs under her belt, the Barathea filly will need this mile and can progress to land this prize with the benefit of her previous outings. None of the others with the benefit of a run make great appeal with the exception of Kernel Dowery, who performed pretty well here on debut and can also be expected to improve. Of the debutantes we are again going to need to look to the market for some inspiration, though Kennington would appear to be the best of them. A 130,000gns purchase, if he is going to be any sort of performer he should be able to come here and run a big race first time, and though his breeding suggests that he will be much the better at three, he should be thereabouts. Home Fleet is another well bred individual who will make into a nice horse over a mile and beyond and is also going to be one to watch in the market here, while Amie is likely to give a good account, but who will probably progress at three.
