    Verdict

    A tricky race in which TIMETEAM can see off Effort. Granted, Timeteam was last seen out when obliging in a claimer but in many ways, that race is similar to the make up of this and with Jamie Spencer aboard, we take the hint this afternoon. Effort has the best BHA ratings having flown high in Group races previously. His rating of 91 might flatter him greatly from what we have seen of him lately. Son Of The Cat won well at Goodwood. An expensive purchase, he looks to be going the right way. Handcuff and Wigan Pier shouldn't be good enough and seem set to battle out fourth place at best. Timeteam is our call.
