The next race on the card is a fillies handicap and this can go to MARY'S PET ahead of Mount Juliet and Giulietta Da Vinci. The selection put up an improved effort for her latest victory when burning all her rivals off in a Wolverhampton handicap. The form of that race is not great but the manner of her victory was impressive for the grade. She steps up to seven furlongs today but we feel she will stay and if she does she will prove very hard to catch. Marco Botti is a trainer on the up and his Mount Juliet also got her head in front on her last start. That was a good performance given she was coming back from a break and should also improve again. The victory reads even better as that was against the boys so she will prove a huge force back in her own sex. Giulietta Da Vinci ran well over course and distance on her comeback and should strip fitter today. A return to further would be ideal but there may be enough pace on here for her to get competitive. Michael Bell's Madame Roulin should be monitored in the betting as the stable are in very good form.
