Bodden Bay has been consistent enough and can land the finale at the expense of Lady Pilot, Beau Marche, Revien and Samson Quest. Bodden Bay was a bit unlucky in running when a close second over the course and distance last time, and although the winner that day, Depressed, was only third at Wolverhampton on Monday, Chris Dwyer's charge has the overall form to take this. He has improved from selling company and should be bang in at the finish. Lady Pilot found the mile here just a bit too far last time and should make her presence felt as well, along with Beau Marche who showed improvement when third over the track and trip last time. Revien was a bit too keen here on his latest outing and needs a bit more restraint to figure, while Samson Quest could be on the upgrade now that he is stepped back up to a more suitable trip. Fourth to the useful Clear Impression at Kempton first time back, he found the drop to five furlongs too short at Bath on his handicap debut and time may tell that he is well-treated. It is a fairly open contest, and only a small vote goes to Bodden Bay.
