Miss Polaris can hit the target here, with Kabeer, Penwell Hill, and Admiral Compton just a few lively dangers. Walter Swinburn can come of age in the training ranks this term and should be followed, and in Miss Polaris he has the right ammunition to pick up a good handicap or two. The daughter of Polar Falcon is related to six winners and although yet to add to her maiden success at Pontefract last October, she has shown that the ability is there. It appears as though she is just a slow learner, and from a mark in the 70's, she could be ahead of the handicapper. A pair of blinkers would probably not come amiss, and they may be fitted if she does not oblige today. Kabeer made most to score well on the Polytrack in March and despite a small rise, should go well along with Admiral Compton who did not get the best of luck in running behind that rival last time. Penwell Hill's latest victory came on the slower fibresand at Southwell but he is another to merit a mention, while Star Of Light hails from a stable that has been in fair form. We prefer the claims of Miss Polaris who has the scope to improve.
