      Verdict

      Attain won an amateurs’ race over 1m4f here last month when narrowly beating Ravenous but struggled off today’s higher mark last time. The latter has yet to win on the all-weather but Smiley Bagel got his head back in front when also scoring over 1m4f here recently and has only been raised 4lb. BETSALOTTIE is another recent winner at the track and John Bridger’s charge may come out best again having shown progressive form over the winter with three wins since October. Poyle Thomas continues to slide down the weights but last won in 2014.
