      Verdict

      I Was Only Joking has only found one too good in two of her three starts to date but she’s rated just 70 and probably doesn’t have that much in hand on the others with racecourse experience, including Wolverhampton fourth Make Magic and Wide Acclaim and Miss Milla B, who have also shown signs of ability. The market will be the best guide regarding DOWITCHER, who was very green and beaten a long way on her debut behind the useful Beatbox Rhythm at Pontefract back in August. But she’s a half-sister to two Group 1 winners and her trainer knows the family having handled another sibling, Queen Of Denmark, who won on Tapeta and Polytrack. She will likely have come on a bundle over the winter.
