      Verdict

      All five of these are stepping up in distance but it's a pretty good guess that HALIFAX will appreciate the longer trip. He was unfancied for his debut over a mile at Kempton last October and ran accordingly, but this half-brother to last year's 1m4f Ribblesdale Stakes heroine Hibaayeb will be seen in a much better light today. Riot Police didn't get a clear run when second over 1m2f here recently with Monster Munchie behind and he's preferred to Jacobs Sun. The latter has been placed over a mile of late and needs to improve, while Laffraaj doesn't look good enough.
