Lorikeet may be able to land the finale at the main expense of Josh You Are and Lysander's Quest. The selection won three times at this track for Noel Chance last year and gradually looks to be finding his form after joining Gary Moore. He's back down to the same mark as when last successful and should be thereabouts. Josh You Are is feared most as the booking of Milczarek looks significant in the context of this race. He's climbing the weights but isn't that exposed, his shrewd trainer has been amongst the winners of late and he's another for whom market confidence should be taken seriously. Fondness is an interesting runner from the Powell yard as she's won a couple of hurdle races this winter but she does need to step up on her Flat form for previous connections. Lysander's Quest never threatened to get competitive last time but he ran on well enough from the rear and the veteran could well get into the mix this afternoon. An intriguing finale in which we'll take Lorikeet to defy topweight.
