The second division of a moderate handicap brings proceedings to a close and the vote goes to Figura who can notch her third course and distance victory. Roger Ingram's mare was particularly impressive when storming to a three-and-a-half length victory earlier in the month and was unlucky not to follow up when finding trouble in running on her latest start. The daughter of Rudimentary is creeping up the weights but this represents a drop in grade and the five-year-old can take full advantage under Eddie Ahern. Bravura is 7lb better for a four-length beating behind the selection two starts ago so merits respect but Figura appeared to win with something in hand and is fancied to confirm the placings. The booking of Kieren Fallon on Smoothie catches the eye but Paul Cole's charge has been below his best of late while Lara Falana returns from a three-month absence and may need the outing. Anyhow is coming down the weights but is another struggling for form so Wind Chime, who was second in a seller and gets plenty of weight, should prove a better each-way alternative.
