Terminate can destroy the opposition although Mr Kalandi and Tuvalu are obvious dangers. Neville Callaghan has come back to the site of Terminate's first ever victory and with the handicapper appearingly particularly benevolent in letting her take her chance off 58 three weeks ago, a mark of 64 should not be a barrier to success on this occasion. Tuvalu reopposes from that recent Lingfield meeting and while he has been out since over course-and-distance, he was very disappointing when the race began in earnest. Mr Kalandi was backed off the boards before finishing second in a Wolverhampton handicap. His backers will have been disappointed to leave their money behind but it is interesting that Jimmy Quinn has kept faith when he presumably had other opportunities. The well-bred Madge has been expensive to follow and may consent to find another too good. Missie Baileys ran a decent race in a Windsor seller and while she was beaten by Spence Appeal in a seller over a mile, she is much better than that bare form suggests. Fair Along makes a debut for Paul Blockley having been sold out of Willie Jarvis' yard on New Years' Eve. A competitive heat in which Terminate narrowly secures the selection.
