Prins Willem, Voy Por Ustedes and Wavertree Boy are all shortlisted in this novices¿ hurdle to open the card and the vote is given to Prins Willem. The selection hails from a stable with an admirable strike-rate at present and he really caught the eye when beating a useful yardstick in Salsalino on his hurdling bow. He jumped really well that day and he should be capable of taking this prize before moving onto better things. Voy Por Ustedes rates the main danger and this Alan King inmate showed a decent level of form in France before unseating his rider at Lingfield last time in a better race than this. He could be anything and a watching brief on the market is advised. Wavertree Boy was quite useful on the flat and he is another that has to be of interest on his hurdling debut. He is sure to have been well-schooled by his excellent trainer, and he could be capable of a big run. Mr Fernet has shown a degree of promise and he is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Prins Willem.
