Place Above, Bobsbest and Kicasso are the three we like here and the vote is given to Place Above. The selection is a nice type who is in great form and he looked to win with a bit in hand when defeating Prince of Slane at Musselburgh last time. He has the size and scope to make further progress and he looks the one they all have to beat. Bobsbest is the obvious danger and he won well last time when beating Off the Seal on this track. He is stepped up in trip here and providing he transfers his improved form to this trip where he has been a little disappointing in the past, then he should go well. Kicasso is very interesting as he hails from a leading yard and he was very well supported when finishing a fair third behind Waterspray last time. His connections clearly feel he will be suited by this longer trip and as he is still open to plenty of improvement, he could represent a live danger to our selection. Leith Hill Star could go well if she is allowed to dominate the race, but her jumping remains a concern, and we are happy to stick with Place Above who should be good enough to get his head in front in this competitive race.
