      Verdict

      David O'Meara saddles two here. David Probert was on board when Dazzling Des just prevailed over NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND when tackling the minimum here last month and George Rooke's claim just hands the initiative to the latter, who went up another furlong on the track next time and won with a bit in hand. Vandad has yet to win and ran poorly on his only start over the course and distance but Bowling Russian has won here and has been in very good form on Deauville's Polytrack in recent weeks.
