TONKINESE (NAP) is rated 12lb higher than Itsalonglongroad and only has to concede 4lb with jockey claims taken into consideration. However, the former has now had 13 starts around here and won none so can hardly be selected with confidence despite racing in this company for the first time. The latter arrives in top form having won over the trip at Tramore, scored over fences at Down Royal, then won over the extended 1m2f track here a couple of weeks ago when he had long-time leader Royal Admiral a neck behind and the strong finishing Swift Wing a length back in third though the latter ran poorly in a maiden here on Monday. Ardamir won over hurdles at Ballinrobe in August though is 0-21 on the all-weather while Dalileo has three all-weather victories to his credit but does better over further.
