Herculaneum made a fair debut here in February and didn't reappear until earlier this month where he never really got going until too late on the heavy ground at the Curragh. Mosala had looked a likely future winner when just beaten in a Limerick maiden over this trip but failed to stay an extra 2f at Leopardstown. STATELY HOME had a couple of promising runs at Lingfield in January and didn't reappear until last month when headed on the line by Nawafeth. There should be more to come from Damien English' grey and he can see off the challenge of Orchid Gardens. Michael Halford's filly has been leading over slightly longer trips and staying on when headed so the drop back to this distance looks certain to suit. Lily Like showed potential for Ian Balding and should be better for last week's run here.
