With Hugh Morrison's horses in very good form at present, hopes are high that Kiama can keep the run going, with Gurrun, Mr Kalandi, Finland and Flaming Weapon seen as potential dangers. This does have an open look to it but Kiama shaped well on her second run back when just failing to hang on for second behind Oakley Absolute at Nottingham three weeks ago. That was a good effort on her handicap debut considering that she did not handle the final bend too well, and it is hoped that she will stay this longer trip to open her account. The daughter of Dansili has only had four career starts in all now and has the scope to progress. Gurrun benefited from positive tactics when scoring on fast ground at Brighton the time before last but failed to follow up when unpenalised at Beverley and is beatable. Mr Kalandi should stay this trip but was disappointing at Nottingham last time, while Finland was doing all his best work at the finish when fourth at Beverley. Flaming Weapon was a fair fourth no more at Chepstow when making his handicap debut from out of the weights, but may make a bid for the frame. The improver here though is Kiama and she can go close.
