Verdict

Beggers Luck was having only her sixth run to date when landing a handicap here last month. She'll continue to improve but the runner-up that day, BLACK TRUFFLE, can take his revenge despite a subsequent defeat over a trip too short. Shifting Star was in cracking form early last summer and has been very consistent in the winter campaign without managing a victory. Quinta Feira was making his handicap debut when running well over 6f at Kempton and a return to this trip should bring about more progress. The French Grey could provide a threat as she was making her handicap debut and having just her fourth start when runner-up to the well-supported Tsarglas at Wolverhampton.
