Yet another handicap here and we take Beauchamp Trump to score, with Countrywide Luck and Montosari others to consider. The selection came back to form last time, finishing just two lengths down on Reggae Rhythm over two miles here. He stays really well, acts on the track, and this shorter trip should not unduly concern us. Countrywide Luck is 4lb higher than when winning here over 12f last month and looks set to go well again. He clearly likes it here, and the extra furlong shouldn't be a problem, so he can also go close. Montosari is another 12f winner here and is still 2lb higher than that success last April. He has shown better form of late over two miles, and perhaps this drop back to 1m 5f can encourage an even better effort from him once more. Stage Manager also makes some appeal with Jamie Spencer in the plate, and as a recent winner here who steps up in trip. He is open to improvement still, but Beauchamp Trump will get every yard and can take this prize.
