      Verdict

      TAPPANAPPA hasn't raced since June last year but could prove good enough to score in this company on his reappearance. He need only run up to the form of his earlier placed efforts at Kempton and Haydock to get off the mark and Andrew Balding's charge gets the nod. Winning hurdler Candelita and the unexposed Danaher both made less than inspiring debuts on the Flat last time, while Gay Gallivanter takes another step up in trip after 17 starts without a win. Red Shuttle and Tellmethings were both beaten out of sight in bumpers on their respective racecourse debuts.
