Verdict
The ability to act on the surface will be key and LA SARRAZINE could be a big player if translating her flat form to obstacles though Megasue and Slick Mover are dangers. The filly looked most progressive on the flat; signing off with a success in a Newbury handicap. There is plenty of reason on pedigree to believe that she can handle these testing conditions but as ever, the proof of the pudding is going to be in the eating. Megasue did not do a lot wrong on reappearance at Lingfield. She had won bumpers at Worcester and Fontwell previously, the latter under a penalty. Slick Mover has a bit to do on the formbook though her yard did have a winner at the weekend. Dot's Delight won well at Fontwell. She seems to have left her moderate flat form behind. Jenny's Gold has performed well under a soft surface in the past and holds best claims of the outsiders. Uturn was well held when unseating the rider on reappearance. Charlie Longsdon's horses are in better nick than they were so a cautious note is made about Vin Rose in the market. Miss Totnes is likely to send them along in the early stages. La Sarrazine is the call in a race where the contest revolves around her ability to act upon the surface.
