A moderate race that can go to UGENIUS with Upstairs and River Kirov respected as dangers. The selection has yet to race at this circuit but has shaped with a degree of promise in her most recent starts and if taking to this track, she is off a helpful enough mark at present. Upstairs makes plenty of interest if the market speaks in his favour. He has had a sizeable absence to iron out any issues. River Kirov has put two decent efforts together at Kempton and would have chances if able to put it all in going the other way round. Melt is still a maiden and he is dropped back in trip in order to find that first success. Similar comments applying to Royal Manor. The visor is off Convivial Spirit. Charlie Allnut makes a first run for new connections and cheekpieces are on for the first time. A race that won't live long in the memory and Ugenius is our idea of the winner.
