A wide open handicap rounds off the card with many in form rivals in opposition including Macaroni Gold, Red Scorpion, Arc En Ciel and Bustling Rio and we will side with Red Scorpion. The five year old from the Mark Brisbourne yard won well over course and distance last time out when defeating Western in good style. He escapes a penalty for that win and with conditions again in his favour despite top weight he will be hard to beat. Macaroni Gold rates the main danger he has been in fair form of late but he just gave the impression he did not see out the trip when second behind Hefin last time so is opposed for that reason. Arc En Ciel is also worthy of respect he was a fair fourth behind the selection last time and is sure to have come on for the run. Bustling Rio is another that could go well he was a fair fourth last time but he still looks in the handicappers grip. Of the remainder Marmaduke is from a yard in form and was a fair second behind Phantom Stock ;last time but we are happy to stick with the top weight Red Scorpion.
