An tricky 18-runner seller to get things underway and one in which we like the look of Tetragon over possibly Allegedly Red and Muhtadi. As we say, it's very tricky and many of the runners seem to hold comparable chances. However, the selection is dropped to this grade for the first time, is just a four year old so should have better to come, and has won twice on the Flat at 9 and 11 furlongs so just might solve the seller's puzzle. Course and distance winner Muhtadi is back to a winning mark, although that did come in March 2002, and, being lightly raced, Allegedly Red could be open to improvement. As we say, many of the others look the equal of each other and the betting market might prove useful when it comes to making a selection. However, ahead of time and without being armed with that knowledge, we'll go for Tetragon.
