        Alsahib (USA) Off the track for nearly a year. Fair flat form in '99, but likely to need this

        Djais (FR) Clear pick on the official ratings but has run badly last two efforts, difficult to weigh up

        Famous (FR) No chance on official ratings and has shown nothing to suggest otherwise in recent outings

        Mischief Only very moderate but a reproduction of C&D second last month would give him place prospects in this weak affair. Two poor runs since then, though.

        Steamroller Stanly Multiple winner but getting on a bit now. However, stays this trip well these days and overall recent form good enough to give him a serious chance in this company

        Top of The Charts Stiff task at the weights and tailed off in a similar race at Wolverhampton last time. Hard to fancy.

        Twoforten Still a maiden. Steps up to this trip for the first time, and a professional jockey may bring some improvement. Slight place prospects

        Moynoe Princess (IRE) Ex-Irish maiden. No form in three starts since joining new stable, one over jumps, but does wear a visor for the first time and would not have to show too much improvement to figure

        Bathwick Dream Lightly raced and more scope than most. Led for a long way at Wolverhampton last time and this looks slightly easier so certainly not one to rule out.

        Miss World (IRE) Well beaten by Colonel Custer last two flat runs. Pulled up over hurdles in between. Scored twice on the AW as a juvenile though, and has a slight chance in this poor race.
