    Verdict

This looks a decent handicap with the shortlist containing Dancing Mystery, Bluebok and Pic Up Sticks and the vote given to the last mentioned. The selection has enjoyed a fruitful summer and he has been given a little breather since his last outing in early September. He ran respectably that day behind Matsunosuke and from a good draw he can regain the winning thread. Dancing Mystery went close last time behind Calabaza at Brighton and he has got winning form over this course and distance so he is not one to dismiss lightly. Bluebok was a little disappointing at Haydock last time and it is now over a year since he has won a race, so the percentage call looks to be to take him on. The booking of Seb Sanders for Desperate Dan is eyecatching and he can go well at a price, but Pic Up Sticks is in good heart at present and he can lead them home.
