Verdict

Hey Presto, Ask The Clerk and Conjuror are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote is given to Ask The Clerk. The selection was a fair fourth off this mark behind Everest last time out and although that form has since been let down he looks progressive and he looks the value bet in an open affair. Hey Presto rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Top Mark but although he has won over this trip in the past his best form is over shorter and for that reason he is opposed. Conjuror is another worthy of respect as he was a fair third behind Lord Of The East last time but he has been done no favours by the draw. Hard To Catch is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is exposed and he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Of the remainder Ali Bruce is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Ask The Clerk.
