Verdict

Hollywood Road hasn’t won since landing last year’s renewal off a higher mark but the soft ground was a legitimate excuse for a poor effort here last time. Lawn Ranger made a winning debut in 2017 and was scoring for the first time since when successful at Windsor recently. He’s been raised 3lb while Victory Chime won three times last season and should be sharper for last month’s comeback run at Windsor. OASIS FANTASY (NAP) won on the Polytrack here in September and has competed in Class 2 company so far this year. He’ll find this easier and David Simcock’s charge gets the vote with an apprentice’s allowance further helping his cause.
